Hello everyone. A lot of people these days believe they are real bloggers. That they type and that it’s good. A real blogger naturally writes. They don’t need to use big words or blog about something that’s popular like mustaches (oh gawd what were we thinking) just to get followers. Real bloggers you can get in their head. Real bloggers you feel as if you are the writing the blog yourself. Just because you have a Facebook does not make you a blogger. I’m here to tell you that I am a blogger. Always thinking but never writing. So here I go…
As I type watching The Mysteries of Laura on Hulu, I smile. Growing up reading those Nancy Drew books and always being so fascinated, watching CSI Las Vegas, and with the idea of Sherlock Holmes character, I always felt as if mysteries were calling me. Oh and Debra Messing is also one of my favorite real actresses.
You aren’t watching The Mysteries of Laura you say? Well your missing out. This hip, fist pumping, always quirky mystery comedy series will deliver. Debra Messing ( known for Will & Grace) is recently soon to be divorced cop who only wants to solve the who-dunnit just to get home to her rumbustious children just to solve who to watch her kids while she’s gone. With each episode we see her grow as a mother and grow in herself. Now for you guys out there watching a show about a mother cop doesn’t appeal your interest. I get that. But did I forget to mention her boss is her husband! I smell controversy. With working with your soon-to-be ex comes constant tug a war and with two kids “Laura” has so much on her plate. Her husband Jake played by Josh Lucas ( from Sweet Home Alabama) is a sassy, manipulative, yet charming character. With his smooth voice we, and sometimes Laura, fall into his whimsical ways. There’s also more comedy as Max Jenkins character plays Laura’s assistant or should we say intern. For when the show is lacking in comedy they bust out the intern just to keep it going.
